Since our founding meeting in April of 1992, Association of Home Businesses (AHB) has had dinner meetings. Sharing a meal and getting to know one another is the relaxed and low-key AHB way. Please read on to learn more.

Meeting Format

Our dinner meeting is held the 3rd Thursday of every month.

6:00 pm: Doors Open, Networking, browse Library and Show’n’Sell
6:30 pm: Buffet Dinner with all the fixins
6:50 pm: Introductions and AHB Business
7:15 pm: Speaker/Presentation, includes discussion and Q&A
8:30 pm: Mingling, Cleanup (a participatory activity)
9:00 pm: Meeting ends

Dress is casual. We are informal, but professional.

Self-service buffet style, with vegetarian option available.

Networking

AHB is a place to meet and mingle with other home business owners, or prospective owners. Many long-term relationships, affiliations, new sources, and business have been derived from AHB’s conducive networking atmosphere. Don’t be surprised if you are asked to introduce yourself, as we go ’round the room, with your brief “elevator speech”! (Bring some business cards, too, if you like.)

Resource Table

Free handouts, pertinent to home business owners or prospective owners, garnered from various sources.

Show’n’Sell

A trade-show-style tabletop area for AHB members to display and share their goods and/or services.

Cost and RSVP

Meeting cost is $10 at the door, cash or check. First-time guests pay $10, the same as members. We encourage you to come and experience an AHB meeting.
