For the past 19 years, Skot Waldron’s work for clients such as J.P. Morgan Chase, CDC, Georgia Tech, Royal Caribbean, Sesame Workshop, The Home Depot, and The Coca-Cola Company has included national and international communication programs. His focus is on helping people and businesses learn how to communicate more effectively. Skot believes you have to be healthy on the inside (culture) in order to truly be healthy on the outside (sales and marketing). In addition to running his own agency, Skot has been teaching brand development at the Miami Ad School in Atlanta. He has traveled to different cities in the U.S. to conduct communication training and speaks about how the idea of branding pertains to us as individuals, teams, families, and businesses.
At the Association of Home Business’s January 21st meeting, featured presenter Skot Waldron will offer four principles to make remote working more effective. “To be honest, these principles aren’t new,” Skot says. “I’ve been teaching leaders and teams these tools for a while. But COVID-19 has changed the way we work now, and some of those changes will carry well into the future.”
Whether you’re new to remote working, or you’ve been working as part of a remote team for years, this webinar is for you. The health of your team, contractors, and company will flourish or be damaged by how you communicate.
Skot’s hour-long presentation and discussion will address:
- Common struggles with leading remote teams
- Four principles to help lead remote teams more effectively
- Tools to help build trust and influence while working remotely
