Tara Cunningham of OnPoint Credit Union talks about Advantages to home business people banking with a credit union”: The presenter is Tara Cunningham, Sellwood Branch Manager of OnPoint Community Credit Union. She plans on explaining benefits credit union offers to business – account types, loan types, and online banking for businesses, and the benefits of Group Banking for businesses (discounts on loans in increased on deposit rates). If you have questions about how these nonprofit financial institutions work, bring them to the meeting!

Barbara Pikus Caricature Artist will do a member portrait for her ten minute presentation. She does corporate and private events, including parties, picnics, trade shows, weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. Barbara’s name was in the hat for the monthly drawing for a warm up presentation, prior to the main event.
AHB meets on the third Thursday evening of each month at SMILE Station in Sellwood at 6 p.m. for three hours of camaraderie, networking, a buffet supper, and an interesting and relevant speaker.
Guests are welcome and are invited to meet the group as a whole, while exploring a roll-out of the latest member benefits – Guests will have an opportunity to talk about their own business. Meet and greet other entrepreneurs, business owners, freelancers, contract workers and home based business owners who’ve grown their reach by attending the Association of Home Businesses monthly meetings.
