Join us on June 18th, at 6;30 pm for a virtual meeting featuring Brian Rapp, CPA, of McDonald Jacob Accountants and Consultants. Brian’s support of home businesses focuses on Tax Consulting (and with tax filing right around the corner, this meeting’s timing is perfect!).

In this changing world, it is more important than ever to evaluate how you are utilizing those in your professional network, including your CPA. Many CPAs provide more than tax preparation services in the form of business consulting, accounting advice, and tax planning. For this presentation, Brian will be discussing ways to maximize deductions, relieve the burden of accounting, as well what questions you should ask your CPA to find out if he or she is the right fit for your business.
Brian’s primary focus is closely held businesses, and he is well versed with the particular needs of clients in the health care and real estate industries, as well as start-ups. He helps clients in more than just taxes. His skills include forecasting, succession planning, and taking a comprehensive view of the financial picture. He also works with individuals, partnerships, and corporations on their tax needs, and assists healthcare clients with compensation modeling, revenue cycle acceleration, operational effectiveness, and profitability.
Brian serves on the Board of Directors of DanceWire and the Portland Tax Forum, and is a graduate of Regional Art and Culture Council’s (RACC) Art of Leadership program. In his spare time, he enjoys fostering dogs, and rooting for Miami Hurricanes football and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
